After an amazing stay with a family and overcoming the Kyrgyz language barrier, I continue to one of the prettiest lakes in Kyrgyzstan! I’m so happy to finally see the true beauty of Kyrgyzstan this time, after rushing a bit through this country the first time round. The route was a mix of asphalt and dirt, climbing over a 3,300 m alpine pass surrounded by yurts and nomadic camps. It’s a land of wide-open spaces and horses! But the best part? Meeting two boys on donkeys near the lake. Suddenly,
