S T O C K I N G In late March, our Pitkin State Fish Hatchery stocked more than 150,000 fingerling (1-inch) kokanee salmon into the lake at Navajo State Park. It’s the second year kokanee salmon have been stocked on the Colorado side of this reservoir. In 2026, we will set up a Merwin trap net at Navajo State Park in hopes of seeing some of these same fish return to spawn. 📸: CPW/John Livingston | Colorado Parks and Wildlife
