Meet our Office of Fire Prevention and Control’s newest all-terrain vehicle! ✨ This fully-amphibious vehicle can conquer snow, ice, mud, gravel, and asphalt—carrying up to 17 people while “floating” over the toughest terrain with less ground pressure than a human. Every other year, all emergency vehicle drivers must complete an EVIP (Emergency Vehicle Incident Prevention) rodeo course to make sure we’re operating safely on our roads. Drivers are evaluated on effectively navigating around objects, making tight turns and other skills (like “diminishing clearance,” where the lane keeps getting tighter).
