🏈On November 15, 1959 Cleveland Browns' halfback Bobby Mitchell sets a club record for the longest run from scrimmage when he goes 90-yards to help beat Washington 31-17 at Griffith Stadium. Mitchell finished with 14 carries for 232 yards and 3 touchdowns. His 232 yards (almost 17 yards per carry) was the fourth most in a game in NFL history at the time.
