We recently invited, through our Tees-Swale: Naturally Connected programme, a group of young people from the Tees-Valley YMCA to Marrick Park in Swaledale. Julia Carr, a local farmer introduced the group to her highland cattle and talked about the conservation benefits of having them on her land. She also spoke about her wildflower meadows which produces the best winter feed them. The group also got the opportunity to get up close and personal with the cattle, giving them a brush, and helping re
