On July 6th, the Idaho Army National Guard's State Aviation Group joined Custer County Search and Rescue to help an injured hiker on Thompson Peak in the Sawtooth Range near Stanley, Idaho. The teams navigated the challenging terrain and high altitude, carefully considering aircraft limitations to ensure a safe operation.
