I swam in Crater Lake for the first time and it was unforgettable. The Cleetwood Cove Trail in Crater Lake National Park is only 1.1 miles each way, but it drops more than 600 feet straight down to the water which means that climb back up is an absolute butt-burner, so bring plenty of water if you go.
