This animated gif shows the giant star explosion (Supernova) that can be seen 21 million light-years away in the Pinwheel Galaxy. I am flipping back and forth between pictures I captured in 2023 and also in 2021 (without the Supernova). I captured something very unexpected last night. Since the moon was full and making everything hard to see, I decided to capture some star clusters. While nothing can be seen after combining over 400 30-second exposures, if I cycle through them one at a time, a visitor appears from the edge. A comet entered my field of view and made quite a journey through my pictures. Now this was some lucky imaging. Thanks for watching!
