Over 2600 years old, this vessel is attributed to the Eastern Zhou Dynasty of Ancient China. Made of bronze, it features an inscription on the interior base. According to a translation of the inscription provided by the MET, it says "zhu wang xiang shen zhi yu" (the yu of Xiong Shen, King of Zhu). It measures 27 cm in diameter and 20.3 cm (10 5/8 x 8 in) in height. This artifact is now housed by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, United States.
