The award ceremony of the Azov Battalion. The commander Colonel Denys Prokopenko, who survived russian captivity and was exchanged as a prisoner of war, honored the fighters of the 2nd Battalion during the award ceremony. The Azov servicemen were awarded the Orders for Courage, For Fortitude, departmental awards of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Presidential Awards for Defense of Ukraine and primary officer ranks. Azov was formed in response to russia's invasions of Crimea and Donbas in 2014.
