Now we see where Moonlight Mile gets it's beautiful burgundy color. Tomatoes are beefsteak-sized and slightly flattened. Skin is purple when fully ripe and has a metallic or satin sheen.

First fruit will be larger and gradually lessen in size. They have an excellent flavor as they are basically Cherokee Purples with special leaves. The interior when cut has an incredible deep color – very pretty.
