Cregger's follow-up to "Barbarian" offers an even more ambitious cross between domestic horror and sketch comedy.

On top of the mechanics of the story, Cregger displays an athletic, fluid filmmaking style that is impressive. The camera is often constantly moving, especially in the breathless finale, though some may be frustrated that some questions remain unanswered at the end.

Weapons, directed by Zach Cregger, is out on August 8. The movie follows the disappearance of 17 children who belong to the same classroom.
