Israel’s army has confirmed that one of the bodies recovered from Gaza earlier this week was that of 23-year-old hostage Hamzah AlZayadni.

Bodies of both Yosef and Hamzah were recovered on January 8. While that of Yosef was identified on January 8, the same of Hamzah’s was identified on January 10.

Roughly 100 Israeli hostages were taken into the Gaza Strip when Hamas militants launched an attack on southern Israel on 7 October 2023.View on euronews
