The Uber Shikara service is the first of its kind in Asia and follows in the footsteps of similar services in European cities like Venice

Each ride, accommodating up to four passengers, can be booked for a one-hour duration between 10 am and 5 pm from Shikara Ghat No. 16. Reservations are available up to 12 hours in advance and can be made as far as 15 days ahead.

Named as Uber Shikara, the limited-period service is designed to enhance the tourism experience while promoting grassroots economic opportunities for shikara drivers in Jammu and Kashmir.
