Cucumbers sold to Costco, Walmart, Wegmans and Albertsons have since been recalled for possible contamination with salmonella.

Roughly seven cases of salmonella have been reported on the Front Range, though luckily no cases have shown up here on the Western Slope. Local farmer Charlie Talbott reacts to what seems like an ongoing wave of outbreaks.

(Gray News) – A cucumber recall over salmonella concerns is being expanded to include more products. On Saturday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced the initial recall of cucumbers from SunFed Produce that were sold in dozens of states and parts of Canada.
