Flash flooding caused by torrential rains on Saturday turned deadly in northern West Virginia. Officials said up to 4 inches of rain fell within about half an hour.

More thunderstorms are on the way, with multiple states under flash flood watches or similar alerts on Monday.

After deadly flash flooding, first responders are still searching for survivors. At least six people were killed. West Virginia's governor has declared a state of emergency after floods washed roads and destroyed homes.
