Sky Sports F1 pundit Ted Kravitz has claimed that Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton got emotional after he realized that his partnership with the German team was ending after the next two races.

Mick Schumacher will leave his role of Mercedes Formula 1 reserve driver at the end of the season to pursue opportunities elsewhere, the team said on Thursday.

Valtteri Bottas is in advanced talks to make a return to Mercedes as their reserve driver for next season following Mick Schumacher's departure from the role - a move that Lewis Hamilton would seemingly approve of.
