JOHNSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Johnston Public Schools announced that Winsor Hill School had to be closed on Monday due to a heating problem. Superintendent Bernie Dilullo told 12 News part of the heating system was malfunctioning. An employee was sent to pick up a replacement part and it’s expected to be repaired in time for school on Tuesday.

Winsor Hill School in Johnston is closed Monday due to a heating problem. The school sent out an alert through the Rhode Island Broadcasters Association. ABC6 has reached out to the district for more information.
