The Celtics will be down a pair of starters when they take on the Cavaliers at 6 p.m. Sunday in Cleveland. The C’s originally had four players listed on the injury report, but now, Jaylen Brown was a late addition as he’s been downgraded to out due to a non-COVID illness.

Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla said Brown is out with a non-COVID illness while White is dealing with a foot sprain suffered in the third quarter of Friday's win over Chicago. Brown averages 24.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists while White is the team's best on-the-ball defender.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics only play four times in the regular season. So far, neither team has been close to fully healthy in their matchups. Unlike last time, it’s the Celtics that will be without multiple key pieces.
