Once again, record highs will be challenged in both Boston and Worcester. We are currently forecasting a tie of the near 100-year-old record in Boston. Temperatures on Wednesday will only be a few degrees "cooler" and there will be no relief from the high humidity.

A heat advisory is back for the Metroplex, as well as counties to the North and East. The alert, issued by the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office, will start at noon Monday and continue through 7 p.m. Tuesday. It warns of heat index values up to 107 degrees, which increases the risk of heat-related illnesses.
