Once again, record highs will be challenged in both Boston and Worcester. We are currently forecasting a tie of the near 100-year-old record in Boston. Temperatures on Wednesday will only be a few degrees "cooler" and there will be no relief from the high humidity.

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for Rhode Island and other parts of Southern New England.

Central Florida faces another searing day Sunday with the National Weather Service placing much of the region under another heat advisory, and conditions could worsen Monday.

A heat advisory is in effect until 10 p.m. for Metro Detroit as temperatures are expected to feel above 100 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Monday's temperature, humidity and light wind are contributing to the conditions, according to Andrew Arnold, a meteorologist at the NWS Detroit office.

A heat advisory is back for the Metroplex, as well as counties to the North and East. The alert, issued by the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office, will start at noon Monday and continue through 7 p.m. Tuesday. It warns of heat index values up to 107 degrees, which increases the risk of heat-related illnesses.

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory on July 28 as feels-like temperatures break 100 degrees.

On Monday at 1:13 p.m. a heat advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid for Tuesday between noon and 8 p.m. for Lawrence, Butler, Beaver, Allegheny, Armstrong, Washington, Greene, Westmoreland and Fayette counties.
