AnEsonGib is the new Misfits middleweight champion after beating the undefeated Slim in the main event of X Series 019 on Thursday night in Doha. The two settled their long running rivalry in a fight which Gib made look relatively easy despite a bright start from his opponent.

Slim has claimed that there was some "dirty boxing" during his Misfits 19 bout with Gib, which he lost on majority decision in Qatar. "I thought it was a great fight, there was a lot of dirty boxing," Slim said. "I have to watch the tape, I landed some great shots; I think i broke my hand on him."
