Michigan will be without Colston Loveland and Will Johnson, two of its best players, today against Ohio State.

The good news for Michigan is that it’s played without Johnson for weeks now, leaning on cornerbacks Jyaire Hill, Aamir Hall (a transfer from FCS Albany) and Zeke Berry, a converted nickel. Look for all three to get significant playing time against Ohio State, and safety Makari Paige moving into the slot-corner role.

However, according to a report from from Jason Avant on Michigan Sports Network, Loveland did not come back out of the tunnel for the second half and is not expected to return in this game for the Wolverines.
