Not much went to plan for the Chicago Sky on Saturday night. They lost 79-52 to the shorthanded Indiana Fever. Even worse, veteran point guard Courtney Vandersloot went down with an ugly knee injury in the first quarter.

The Fever ran away with a 79-52 win behind a 17-point performance from Kelsey Mitchell, plus 13 points from Natasha Howard and 12 points from Clark’s replacement Aari McDonald as the team won its second straight game and pulled its record even at 4-4.

On Saturday, June 7, the Indiana Fever continued their success against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky despite not having their best player on the court. With Caitlin Clark nursing an injury, the Fever cruised to a 79-52 victory as the team moved to 4-4 on the season.
