Police are investigating after a person was shot Monday night in Belmont, Massachusetts. Multiple 911 calls were made at 9:12 p.m., reporting gunshots in the area of Clark Lane. Upon arrival, police determined the shooter and victim fled the area. Police later learned the victim self-transported to Auburn Hospital for treatment.

A Boston 25 photographer on the scene captured video of several evidence markers and at least one bullet casing on the ground.
