The Portland Police Bureau released photos of a suspect who allegedly shot two officers on Monday night, describing him as "armed and dangerous."

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - Crews responded to a two-alarm fire in a warehouse in northeast Portland on Saturday morning. At about 5:30 a.m., crews with Portland Fire & Rescue were sent to a commercial building housing several businesses near Northeast 127th and Marx Street. They arrived to find heavy smoke, with flames inside.

"This is a stark reminder of the dangers of the job," the Portland mayor said.

Police are searching for a man who shot two Portland police officers near Lloyd Center mall on Monday night. The officers were hospitalized and their conditions were described as stable.

Governor Kotek held a roundtable on Saturday to talk about the impact of the rise in immigration enforcement by federal agents on community members in the state. During the event, Kotek was asked about the shooting in Minnesota.

The search for the gunman is still ongoing, but a spokesperson said Portland police will continue operating in "all hands on deck" mode until the suspect is found.

Plans to reopen at a Dairy Queen drive-thru in Southeast Portland may have temporarily frozen over — but an upcoming land use hearing could warm things up again. It’s been almost seven years since a Dairy Queen has stood at the corner of Southeast Division Street and 55th Avenue.

"Full performing arts campus and support amenities" are more achievable with Portland State University's plan, the study found.
