ORCHARD PARK - The forecasting models are showing that Sunday night, the fabulous fall we have enjoyed in Western New York could be coming to an end, just in time for the Buffalo Bills to host the San Francisco 49ers at Highmark Stadium.

The dry, raw chill is slated to stay through the weekend in NYC, while communities upstate could be buried in feet of snow.

Four to six feet of snow is expected in parts of upstate New York this weekend, creating potentially dangerous driving conditions. Forecasters predict that areas east of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario are likely to be hit the hardest, with the possibility that two to four inches of snow will fall per hour beginning Friday afternoon.
