Michigan is bracing for another round of lake-effect snow this weekend, with snowfall expected to accumulate in spots across the Upper and Lower Peninsulas.
A quick-moving burst of freezing rain is pelting parts of Michigan Tuesday, making travel hazardous in some areas.
Today’s Winter Storm Warning continues for Oceana, Muskegon and Ottawa counties (shown in pink on the map above), with Winter Weather Advisories stretching across most of the southern half of the Lower Peninsula.

Peak snowfall will be Sunday afternoon toward dinnertime, particularly from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. The main snow will then start to move out with lake effect snow showers lingering near the Lake Huron shoreline.
