At least six new wildfires ignited along Colorado's Western Slope over the weekend, bringing the total number of wildfires burning across state and federal lands to more than 10.

In support of response efforts for the Elk Fire in Rio Blanco County, Gov. Jared Polis recently declared a disaster emergency. Tuesday, Polis updated the disaster emergency too include the Lee Fire.
