Administration at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay says the school raised almost $205,000 during its second annual ‘Giving Day,’ a 117% increase from last year’s event. According to a release from UW-Green Bay,

The Green Bay school board selected its new member after interviewing six candidates. The new member will serve until April 2026.

A committee meeting Monday afternoon saw four Green Bay alderpeople split on whether or not to make a statement against conversion therapy.

Police in Michigan did suspect foul play in the disappearance of Lisa Janine Pipp, whose body was reportedly found Wednesday by Little Strawberry Island in Wisconsin waters.

The committee did not give a recommendation to the City Council on how to vote on a potential resolution opposing conversion therapy after a 2-2 vote.

The annual canoe journey started in 2022 with a voyage from the four lakes in Madison then south to Beloit. Overall, the long paddle trips serve as an excellent tool to educate the public, according to William Quackenbush, the Ho-Chunk Nation’s tribal historic preservation officer, who leads the journeys.
