WASHINGTON — A brush fire broke out near Beach Drive and Park Road NW on Sunday, prompting D.C. Fire and EMS to respond. Officials reported that at least two acres of wooded terrain were engulfed in flames. The steep and rugged landscape added to the complexity of the operation.
