Alexis Roderick Joel, the wife of Billy Joel, said she is "hopeful" for the singer's recovery after he was diagnosed with a brain disorder.

Despite suffering ongoing health challenges, singer Billy Joel is said to have no plans to retire from the spotlight.

"This condition has been exacerbated by recent concert performances, leading to problems with hearing, vision, and balance," the statement said.
