Viktor Gyokeres could make his Arsenal debut when the Gunners take on Tottenham on Thursday. Gyokeres completed his move to Arsenal last weekend, arriving from Sporting as part of a deal that could eventually be worth over £60million. The striker has joined Arsenal on their pre-season tour of Asia and he is being assessed by medical staff.

Arsenal beat Newcastle 3-2 in Singapore on Sunday as Mikel Arteta’s kept their winning run going in preseason. Anthony Elanga put Newcastle ahead early on as the new signing made a great first impression on his first start, but then Arsenal equalized through Mikel Merino and an own goal from Jacob Murphy moments later made it 2-1.
