Celtic played out a heartbreaking draw against Bayern Munich in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Knockout Play-off round, which ultimately knocked them out of the competition on aggregate.

Celtic faces off with Bayern Munich on Tuesday, Feb. 18 in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League playoff matchup.

Bayern Munich almost got taken to the wire by a feisty Celtic team on Tuesday in a 1-1 draw that, had it not been for an Alphonso Davies goal deep into stoppage time, would have resulted in 30 minutes of extra time to settle the Champions League play-off tie.

Celtic showcased their quality in the Champions League this season and their impressive run earned them a significant financial boost on top of plaudits.
