Mike Broeker has nearly three decades of athletics administration experience and is in his 18th year as deputy director of athletics at Marquette.

Marquette University has named Bill Scholl’s successor as director of athletics. University President Kimo Ah Yun on Tuesday announced the promotion of Mike Broeker to vice president and director of athletics, succeeding Scholl, who is retiring after 10 years at the institution.

Mike Broeker will replace Bill Scholl, who announced his retirement in May but stayed on the job after former MU president Michael Lovell died in June.
