The former mayor of Gettysburg has been denied bail after he was arrested on sexual assault charges.

Adams County Sheriff Joshua Fitting said in a statement that a warrant had been issued for Chad-Alan Carr on Wednesday.

Investigators determined Carr had left Gettysburg and was in Anderson County, Texas, authorities said.
