CINCINNATI — PFF's Dalton Wasserman dropped one free agent that each NFL team needs to keep this offseason and Tee Higgins took the Bengals' top spot. Higgins is coming off a strong campaign with 73 catches for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns (career-high) playing on the franchise tag.

The Cincinnati Bengals doing a big-money contract extension with Ja’Marr Chase seems an obvious event for the franchise this offseason. Fresh off the team’s botching of it before last season, to the point reports said Chase felt misled, the star wideout went and won a triple crown, only upping his value.

Unfortunately, the Cincinnati Bengals missed the playoffs in 2024 for the second straight season. However, the team ended the year on fire, winning five consecutive games. Furthermore, the Bengals won eight of their final 12 games after starting the season with a 1-4 record.

Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins was ranked as the NFL's top free agent in a list released by USA Today on Wednesday.

The Bengals have a generational talent at quarterback. Joe Burrow has publicly campaigned to keep his favorite targets in the fold. He’s even hinted at modifying his contract so Chase and Higgins can stay.
