While SMU is off to a strong start to its 2024-25 campaign, do the Mustangs have enough chances left to get the quality win necessary to make March Madness?

After two games on the road, SMU is heading back home. They and the Louisville Cardinals will face off in an ACC battle at 9:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday at Moody Coliseum. The Mustangs are expected to win (but not by much) so they better bring their A-game into this one.

Louisville’s lead grew to as much as 26 points in the first half, and the Cardinals led 50-27 at halftime. They were able to expand their lead to as much as 32 points early in the second half before SMU went on a 17-6 run midway through the second half to cut the lead to 18. But that was as close as the Ponies would get.
