The pop star owns two homes in Nashville, a mansion in Rhode Island, an estate in Beverly Hills and practically an entire block in New York City.
According to the permit, issued on Monday, Swift has tasked a contractor with remodeling the home’s kitchen and building new bathrooms as well as a new addition that will be approximately 16 by 24 feet.
Swift will also add an additional bedroom to the property, and plans to remodel the kitchen. In total, the project will cost $US1.7 million ($AU2.7 million). The work will be undertaken by a team of local contractors led by David W. Shafovaloff, who is known for high-end Rhode Island renovations.
