DEA crackdown on El Paso fentanyl drug dealers continues. One is sentenced. Another could face 20 years after customer dies.

Rifles, body armor, and fentanyl were among the items seized during a south Charlotte traffic stop earlier this month, police announced on Monday. The traffic stop happened on Tuesday, Feb. 4, near Archdale Road and Interstate 77.

According to the St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office, shortly after 9 p.m., deputies allegedly saw marijuana and other drugs in a vehicle during a traffic stop on North Sugar Ridge Drive. 29-year-old Maalik A. Jackson, his brother 33-year-old Mystafus Azim Jackson and 34-year-old Denzel L. Mason were all reportedly in the vehicle.
