A student is dead and another injured after a teen gunman opened fire at a Nashville area high school before turning the gun on himself, police say.

Police said a 17-year-old boy armed with a pistol fired several shots in the cafeteria. A female student was killed and another had her arm grazed. The shooter then turned the gun on himself and was fatally wounded, police said.
