U.S. Sen. Kevin Cramer of North Dakota is recovering at his Bismarck home after injuring his head when he slipped on ice.

"I stepped on ice and evidently fell hard, hitting the back of my head. I do not remember anything from the fall until arriving at Sanford Health emergency room," Cramer wrote on Facebook.
