It is turning out to be a day to remember for young India batter Yashasvi Jaiswal as he reached his maiden century in Australia after taking the attack to the Australian bowlers at the Optus Stadium in Perth during the third day of the first test of the Border Gavaskar series.

Yashasvi Jaiswal confirmed his status as India’s new batting star with an unbeaten century and shared a record 201-run opening stand with KL Rahul as India batted to a likely unbeatable position in the opening Border-Gavaskar test at the Perth Stadium.
