An international research team led by scientists at Waseda University and Tohoku University has discovered an extraordinary quasar in the early universe that hosts one of the fastest-growing supermassive black holes known at this mass scale.

The first official footage from the upcoming Masters of the Universe movie was released on Wednesday, and it strongly hints at the truth of a long-standing rumor. The original He-Man and the Masters of the Universe animated series ran from 1983 to 1985 and became one of the most popular children’s shows of the 1980s. It was first adapted into a live action movie, starring Dolph Lundgren as the sword-wielding hero, in 1987.

At 3.3 billion light-years across, the ring may challenge the “cosmological principle” that the universe looks uniform at sufficiently large scales.
