The Colorado Avalanche Information Center is warning of possibly dangerous avalanche conditions with heavy snow expected to fall in the mountains and increased recreation over Thanksgiving week.

A pattern change arrives Sunday, with mountain snow beginning in the afternoon. The high country could pick up 2 to 5 inches of snow, especially along and north of the I-70 corridor.
