A judge set a $250 million bond Thursday for a Michigan woman who is accused of leaving three children alone for years in a house where conditions were so offensive that police evidence technicians wore hazmat suits.

Records show the Pontiac condo was an unregistered rental, going without required safety inspections, while kids were living there.

The children's mother, Kelli Bryant, was charged with three counts of first-degree child abuse after the children were discovered living alone in the house on Lydia Lane.

Three children are now living with a relative and their mother could be facing charges after they were found abandoned in Michigan.
