One man was stabbed, and two others were arrested after things turned ugly during a wait for Pokémon cards outside a GameStop outlet in Colma, California, over the weekend. What started as a morning queue for Pokémon cards ended up being the scene of a near-fatal injury,

“Upon arrival, officers located one victim with lacerations to the head and multiple stab wounds,” police confirmed in the statement. “Officers immediately began to render medical aid to the victim at the scene, and he was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. The victim is currently in stable condition.”

While Pokémon fans waited outside the GameStop store to buy cards, a man identified by Colma Police Department as Miguel OrellanasFlores, 49, allegedly cut the line, resulting in a verbal argument with the victim. OrellanasFlores allegedly struck the victim in the back of the head with a glass mason jar.
