Chase McLaughlin had a second chance in overtime and kicked a 30-yard field goal with 2:50 left in the session as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers escaped with a 26-23 victory against the host Carolina Panthers on Sunday in Charlotte.

Coming off of a close loss against the Chiefs, the Panthers brought their hunger and drive for a win into Sunday’s game against the Buccaneers. Despite leading for the majority of the game, Panthers were no match against the Bucs following a heart-breaking field goal.

Bryce Young hit Adam Thielen for a go-ahead touchdown in the final minute of the game. The Buccaneers forced overtime and later won with a field goal.
