Cold weather settles in for NYC area, snow in the forecast this week
NEW YORK -- New York is facing some cold weather this week, along with a little bit of snow, if you can believe it. You'll be feeling it out the door Monday with temperatures in the 20s and 30s. Wear multiple layers -- winter coats, hats, gloves and scarves -- especially if you're standing outside for an extended period of time.
Winter Weather Warnings For Seven States as Hazardous Blowing Snow Forecast
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued winter storm warnings and advisories across seven states: Michigan, Indiana, Alaska, Tennessee, New York, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Blowing snowfall, hazardous travel conditions and reduced visibility are expected in many areas.

On Sunday at 7:12 p.m. EST an updated winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid for Monday between 1 a.m. EST and 7 p.m. EST for Delta County.
