The Humane Society of Broward County is encouraging families to consider adoption as dozens of puppies, adult dogs, and cats wait for new homes.

San Diego Humane Society will cut adoption fees in half during the month of August and will waive all fees on Aug. 23.

The San Diego Humane Society and Rancho Coastal Humane Society are holding “Clear the Shelters” events in August.
