Chennai Metro Rail Limited has issued a safety advisory due to rains, advising caution on staircases and parking near waterlogged areas. Train services are operating normally, and safety measures against Cyclone Fengal include deploying 350 water pumps at Phase 2 project sites.

As per IMD, Cyclone Fengal is expected to make a landfall today (November 30). The department has said that Cyclone Fengal will cross north Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coasts between Kariakal and Mahabalipuram close to Puducherry.
